Hot & Cold Yoga incl. ice bath workshop 2x monthly
First we inform you about ice bathing, show you how to prepare your body and head, give you tips and accompany you to the ice bath. Our goal: to stay in it for one minute! With this workshop it is possible, it is safe and also fun.
Then it’s off to the 60-degree sauna for yoga.
Hot yoga is a form of yoga that is performed in warmer conditions, which leads to increased sweating. Some hot yoga practices attempt to recreate the heat and humidity of India, where yoga originated. In this heated environment of hot yoga, the body is optimally prepared for movement. In this way, muscles, ligaments and tendons are warmed up and are immediately much more stretchy. Conveniently, this also reduces the risk of injury. Studies have also shown that thanks to hot yoga, the perceived stress level can be reduced.
This exciting workshop is led by Caro.
“Since my early childhood I have been practicing yoga, which has created exclusively physical benefits for me. Yoga has strengthened my body and improved my strength, flexibility and stretching ability. Regular practice always helped me to relieve stress and face life calmly and positively. Anyone can do yoga. And just as it has always been good for me, yoga can be good for others. For this reason, I took the yoga instructor training to teach the values of yoga to others. On my sailing trips in the Arctic I got to know another practice that caused an indescribably positive body perception in me. Ice bathing! The more I studied this subject, the more convinced I became of this form of therapy, which, among other things, can relieve pain and cause feelings of happiness. In my workshops at the Eisbadi Arosa, I will combine the two elements of yoga and ice bathing so that you will feel like reborn. I look forward to seeing you!”

Guest feedback:
To me, the workshop at Eisbadi was a unique experience of slowing things down, connecting with the body, and appreciating the power of doing hard things together 🙂
